Description
The two playable characters, Elizabeth and Marcus, were a little tricky to set up in The Huntsman: Winter's Curse. They had more animations than any of the other characters and you can upgrade their gear, which changed the character visibly.
The mesh had to be set up before hand to have each of the pieces of gear they could have on (like the arm and leg pieces in grey), and if that piece was animated all the textures for that piece of gear had to fit on one mesh, ie Marcus' cape.
For the weapons, each weapon texture was lined up in Photoshop so that the part they held was in the same spot. The mesh was then lined up as close as possible in maya to fit in his hand on the rig.
